mac: Run the exception swallower server in the parent test process
The exception swallower server’s design and interface are both considerably simpler when the server runs in a thread in the parent test process, as opposed to a separate process. The only caveat is that this results in calls to fork() while threaded. Uses of gtest {ASSERT,EXPECT}_DEATH with the default “fast” gtest death test style result in this warning: [WARNING] ../../third_party/gtest/gtest/googletest/src/gtest-death-test.cc:836:: Death tests use fork(), which is unsafe particularly in a threaded context. For this test, Google Test detected 2 threads.
